Watford’s EqualiTea Raises Money for Macmillan

On Friday 13th July, Richard Harrington MP invited local residents to attend an EqualiTea in Central Watford, to mark 100 years since women got the vote for the first time. The local MP also asked attendees to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support.

All were welcome, including residents living in sheltered housing and nursing homes locally.

Nearly £200 was raised and will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mr Harrington said:

“Thanks to everyone who attended Watford’s EqualiTea on Friday. We raised close to £200 for a fantastic cause, and celebrated the centenary in our community, which is important.”
