On Friday 13th July, Richard Harrington MP invited local residents to attend an EqualiTea in Central Watford, to mark 100 years since women got the vote for the first time. The local MP also asked attendees to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Friday 13th July 2018, Richard Harrington MP will host an EqualiTEA in central Watford to mark the centenary of the Representation of the People Act 1918. These will be happening up and down the country, but all the proceeds from Watford’s one will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Friday 15th June, Richard Harrington MP welcomed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Jeremy Hunt MP, to Watford General Hospital to discuss redevelopment plans, as well as recent successes.
Speaking at the launch of the Hertfordshire Science Partnership, Richard Harrington MP said: “Hertfordshire is ahead of the game because it is a partnership between businesses and academia. It puts them together and I think it has a brilliant future.”
